HUSSARS TUNIC AND TROUSERS

HUSSARS TUNIC AND TROUSERS dated 1914 to J Thurlby - Sherwood rangers - later commissioned Jack Thurlby was a pre-war regular. He served with the Sherwood Rangers, service number 1643. Thurlby saw service served in Salonika with the Nottinghamshire Yeomanry, before being transferred to the Lincolnshire Regiment and commissioned, he was subsequently attached to the Somerset Light Infantry. Original label in the trousers with details handwritten in. Jacket has his name in ink written in the liner.
