UNUSUAL WATERCOLOUR MARINE PANORAMA, probably late 18th century or early 19th century, depicting the Battle of Sole Bay which was the first naval battle of the Third Anglo-Dutch War. Annotated to the 28th May 1672 (Old Style Calendar) and with various other annotations including the burning of the Royal James and various names of those present at the battle, paper on linen mount, now in two parts and in generally poor condition, approximately 36cm x 470cm
