A LOMBOK WOOD WEAVING LOOM 'BACKSTRAP' the elongated design with central rectangular panel carrying a floral design in low relief, two pole like extensions protruding from the narrow ends of the rectangle, possibly representing ancestor guardians, 44cm long. As suggested the 'backstrap' is worn on the back of the weaver, pressing against the threads to be woven, holding them neatly in place
