PAIR OF ARTS AND CRAFTS SILVER CANDLESTICKS, by Albert Edward Jones, Birmingham, 1906, circular form, the cylindrical holders with broad drip pans, the shafts of four straps terminating in arrows, the domed bases each set with four turquoise cabochon's, 11cm high (c.6.5oz) Jones trained at the Birmingham School of Art under Edward R. Taylor and was for a period a Guildsman of the Birmingham Guild of Handicraft. He founded A. E. Jones & Co. in 1902
