EXTENSIVE KPM PORCELAIN DINNER SERVICE, CIRCA 1849-70, each painted with panels of brightly coloured blossoming flowers, against a gilt enriched white ground, comprising 46 dinner plates, 11 soup bowls, 14 side plates, 19 bread and butter plates, 3 graduated meat dishes, 1 oval fish serving dish, 2 vegeta-ble serving dishes, 2 large serving dishes, 3 gravy boats, 1 soup tureen, 6 small serving dishes and 1 cake dish, dinner plates 25cm diam, tureen 35cm high, fish server 62cm wide, large serving dish 40cm diam (109) PROVENANCE: This service was brought over to the UK by an Austrian family fleeing from Nazi Germany, and when unpacked in our saleroom it had remained in the 1939 newspaper wrapping, which is sold along with this service.
