GEORGE II WALNUT AND PARCEL-GILT BUREAU BOOKCASE inlaid throughout with ebony and box-wood stringing, the upper section with a swan-neck pediment inlaid with a central star panel and a line of ge-ometric banding over a pair of bevelled mirror doors with carved parcel-gilt borders and two candle slides, the lower section with a fall flap enclosing a fitted interior, the exterior with four short and two long drawers, on bracket feet, 93cm wide x 50cm deep (with the flap closed) x 222cm high.
