GEORGE III SILVER GILT INK STAND, possibly by Thomas Robins, London 1809, of rectangular form with two detachable cut-glass vessels, gadrooned border, the central taperstick holder with detachable sconce, crested and monogrammed, the base decorated in the Empire style with shell capped winged feet, 26cm long x 13cm high (c.32.8oz)
