CASUALTY 1914/15 TRIO TO PTE J CARLING SEAFORTHS Correctly impressed - S-10258 Pte J Carling Sea Highrs Condition VF John Carling was born in St. Pauls, York. He landed in France on 14th July 1915. He was sadly killed in action on 7th January 1916 with the 1st battalion in Iraq. Carling is remembered on the Basra Memorial.
