QUEEN SOUTH AFRICA MEDAL TO 7228 PTE P MCCABE VOL COY SEAFORTHS Correctly impressed 7228 Pte P McCabe Vol Coy Sea Highrs Bars Transvaal, Cape Colony, Orange Free State, South Africa 1901 & South Africa 1902 Peter McCabe was born in Inverallan, Grantown. He was employed as a Stonemason and served in the 3rd Volunteer battalion of the Seaforth Highlanders. He signed up for active service on 17th January 1900 at Elgin. He was discharged in 1902. Medal and bars confirmed.
