IGS NWF 1930 /31 correctly impressed 6549649 SJT W F Mullins Durh L I  1939/45 Star  War Medal  GVI LSGC Regular Army correctly impressed 6549649 WO CL2 W F Mullins Durh L I  Condition NEF  Mullins served on the Northwest Frontier as a Sergeant with the 2nd Bn Durham Light Infantry in 1930 - 31. He was awarded the IGS.  During the Battle of France serving as a CSM with the 2nd Bn, Mullins was taken prisoner on 15th May 1940. He was held in Stalag 838 in Hohenfels, Bavaria.
