A QUEENS SOUTH AFRICA MEDAL TO PTE F C HUNTLEY, 15TH COMPANY, 5TH IMPERIAL YEOMANRY QSA- correctly impressed 3294 Pte F C Huntley 15th Coy 5th Impl Yeo Bars Cape Colony; Orange Free State; Transvaal; South Africa 1901. Condition NEF Forster Charleton Huntley was born in Bishopwearmouth, near Sunderland. He attested aged 24 in January 1900, giving his occupation as Bank Clerk. He served with the 15th Company (Northumberland's) in South Africa from 2nd February 1900 until 11th June 190, Huntley was discharged on 18th June 1901. Huntley went on to become a Bank Manager and died on 10th March 1945.
