A VERY RARE AFRICA GENERAL SERVICE MEDAL, NIGERIA 1918, TO SJT A WILLEY 21ST DLI Likely Regimentally Unique. AGSM - Correctly impressed 21-328 SJT A Willey DLI Condition EF Alexander Willey served with the 21st Bn Durham Light Infantry during the Great War. He was attached to the 2nd bn Nigeria Regiment and qualified for the Africa General Service Medal with bar Nigeria 1918. The bar was awarded service against the Egba Tribe in the vicinity of the Nigerian Government Railway. The roll confirms the award and shows that Riley was reabsorbed into the DLI.
