Kings South Africa Medal 4484 Serjt J Thompson Durham L I  EVII LSGC 4484 C SJT J Thompson Durham L I  Condition VF ( Contacting on pair).  James Thompson was born in County Down in 1872. He served in the Boer War with the Durham Light Infantry and was awarded the QSA & KSA. He was discharged in 1913 after twenty-one years' service and was in possession of the Long Service and Good Conduct Medal.  He re-joined the Durham Light Infantry on 26th September 914 and served at home until 30th May 1919.
