EAST & WEST AFRICA MEDAL - BENIN 1897 TO H BROOKS OF HMS THESEUS Correctly impressed - H Brooks Ord HMS Theseus Condition VF+ ( Lacquered) Henry Brooks was born in Lower Hardress, Kent on 5th February 1878. He joined the Royal Navy on his eighteenth birthday. His was awarded the medal for service onboard HMS Theseus. Brooks was transferred to the RFR in 1907 and saw service during the Great War. He was discharged in 1919.
