NAVAL LONG CAMPAIGN & LSGC TO PETTY OFFICER C W BRACKLEY RN / SS RIVER CLYDE AT GALLIPOLI SS.113410 PO C W Brackley Royal Navy. The frame hasn't been opened to inspect naming. The typed card in the frame gives the information below; however, service papers suggest that Brackley served on HMS Queen Elizabeth for the duration of the War. 'Charles Walter Brackley joined the Royal Navy in 1914. He served in the Dardanelles and helped keep the engines running on SS River Clyde' Brackley was awarded the RFR LSGC on 10th November 1928 The group is housed a frame along with a Gallipoli Star, a card in the frame states ' Picked up from V Beach by a Seaman from S.S River Clyde'
