PANCRATIA OR A HISTORY OF PUGILISM containing a full account of every battle of note from the time of Braunton and Slack, dated 1812; The Art of Boxing by Jim Wilde, Flyweight Champion of the World; Complete Boxer by Gunner (James Moir) Champion of Great Britain; and nine copies of Boxiana, Sketches of Ancient and Modern Pugilism from the days of Fig and Braunton to the present time. Provenance: The Sparrow Harrison collection of Boxing Memorabilia Sparrow Harrison was a life long member of the Denbigh Boxing Club boxed , mainly at Light Middleweight in Great Britain and Europe during five decades. Had about 200 contests and was captain of the Belsize Boxing Club in London for ten years. Sparrow Harrison was awarded the M.B.E for charity work.
