A GEORGE I WALNUT CONSOLE TABLE, apparently retaining the original white and grey striated rectangular marble top, over a convex-moulded frieze, on faceted cabriole legs with scrolling ears, ending in pointed pad feet, 46" wide x 27.75" deep Provenance: Originally in the collection at Glemham Hall, Suffolk, the home of the North family (later the Earls of Guildford). This table was probably made for the house during the period of remodelling in the 1720's.
