MANNER OF GEORGE JAMIESON A portrait of King Charles I standing full-length in armour, the Royal Arms on a shield to the Monarchs right, oil on canvas, 70" x 48",in a giltwood and ebonised frame carved with stylised acanthus leaves within a cabled border According to an article published in "The Connoisseur", May 1968, this painting was done at Holyrood in 1633.
