CANTON ENAMEL PINK-GROUND OGEE-SHAPED DISH, QIANLONG PERIOD decorated with two quail on a narcissi bank with a butterfly above, the underside in lavender-blue with a central foliate sprig, 20.7cm long Provenance: Christie's, 29th June 1965, lot 203, F. Fuller, Los Angeles. Note: this dish belongs to a small group of similar enamels made in the second half of the Qianlong period.
