SANCAI GLAZE POTTERY HORSE AND ATTENDANT, MING DYNASTY, each decorated with amber, green and dark brown-glazes, the horse modelled standing four-square with head turned to one side, the attendant wearing long flowing robe and tall hat, with one arm outstretched, horse 18.5cm high, attendant 31.5cm high Provenance: From a Private Dorset Collection, acquired in Hong Kong in 1995 from Art Treasures Gallery, and with an accompanying certificate from the gallery.
