LARGE FLAMBÉ-GLAZE BOTTLE VASE, QIANLONG SEAL MARK AND OF THE PERIOD, the ovoid body with tall cylindrical neck, covered in a rich strawberry-red glaze streaked with lavender and purple, thinning to mushroom around the rim, the underside with a mottled brown and celadon-glaze, 46.5cm high Provenance: From the collection of Alan and Joan Scott, CVO, CBE, Deputy Chief Secretary of Hong Kong, 1971-1985. Acquired by Joan at Sothebys Park Bernet, Hong Kong, circa 1981.
