BLUE AND WHITE NARRATIVE SLEEVE VASE, CHONGZHEN PERIOD, the flared neck with a shoulder lappet band, the slightly-tapering cylindrical body decorated with a scene from the Romance of the Three Kingdoms, showing dignitaries and attendants in a mountain landscape, the design terminating in rocks and enveloped in cloud swirls, the shoulder and foot with anhua bands, 42.5cm high Provenance: The Arthur Lane Collection, Phillips, 29th May 1991, lot 6.
