DEHUA CIRCULAR PORRINGER, KANGXI PERIOD, the squat rounded body with a pronounced lip and pierced foliate-scroll side handle, 18.4cm wide (including handle) Provenance: Stockspring Antiques London, 15th June 2006. Note: the form of this porringer is inspired by European silver or pewter originals. A similar Dehua porringer with Dutch decoration is extant in the Victoria & Albert Museum London (C.40-1970).
