CASUALTY MILITARY MEDAL PAIR TO SERGEANT DUNSTER OF THE MACHINE GUN CORPS Albert Dunster was born in High Halden A Blacksmiths Striker by trade, he enlisted on 22nd March 1912 aged 19 joining the East Yorkshire Regiment as a territorial. He became a regular solider at the start of the Great War. Transferred to the Machine Gun Corps on 26th July 1916 and posted to France on 10th July 1917. Serving with the 228th Company of the Machine Gun Corps. Wounded in action on 12th April 1918 and sadly died of wounds the next day. Albert was laid to rest in Pernes British Cemetery.
