Frank Charles Woods was born in Surrey in 1893. He attested on 4th May 1915 at Aldershot. He served on the Western Front from September 1915 until December 1915, before a transfer to the Balkans namely Salonika in January 1916. He served with the 108th Field Company and was hospitalised on numerous occasions for bouts of Malaria. Woods survived the war and was discharged on 3rd of May 1919. He emigrated to Canada in 1925 and worked as a Farmer, and died in Vancouver in 1980.
