FAMILY MEDAL GROUP Pair and Plaque to 42261 Pte G L Hunter KOYLI ( George Louis Hunter) Condition GVF Previously Goldstream Guards 9477, with original picture and certificate from the guards. With pray book and bible. George Louis Hunter was a native of Newcastle upon Tyne. During the Great war he first served with the KOYLI and was then transferred to the 15th Bn of the Northumberland Fusiliers. He was subsequently posted to the 3rd Bn of the London Regiment with who he was sadly killed in action with on 8th November 1918. He was laid to rest in Heath Cemetery, Harbonniers. Pair to 144874 DVR C V Hunter RA ( Condition VF) Charles Victor Hunter was the brother of George. He served with the Royal Artillery and was entitled to a pair only. He survived the war. Boxed WW2 Medals ( box ripped) to Mr G L Hunter, 39/45, Africa, Defence and War. Dog tag JX341599. George Louis Hunter was the son of Charles and the Nephew of George. He served in the Navy during WW2 and survived the war.
