WW2 MONTE CASINO CROSS GROUPING TO A MEMBER OF THE 5TH INFANTRY DIVISION An impressive grouping to Wilhelm Hitter who fought with the 5th Kresowa Infantry Division, 2nd Polish Corps during the battle. He was later transferred to the 55th. He was awarded the Monte Cassino Cross ( 26190) which comes with award card. Hitter also received a 5th Kresowa Infantry Division badge with award card. The group comes with a 1939/45 Star. Italy Star and Defence Medal. A number of reunion and commemorative anniversary badges are included along with some Italian badges and insignia.
