CONTEMPORARY FRAMED GREAT WAR MEMORIAL SCROLL to Lieutenant Lawson North'd Fus Lieutenant Norman Wilfred Lawson in North Shields in 1896. He first served as a Private in the 1st 6th Bn Northumberland Fusiliers. He was subsequently commissioned as Second Lieutenant and was posted to the 5th Bn. Lawson was tragically killed in action on 14th November 1916 and was buried in Warlencourt British Cemetery. He was entitled to a 1914/15 Trio and Plaque.
