PALAIS ROYALE GILT METAL AND MOTHER-OF-PEARL MOUNTED DRESSING TABLE NECCESAIRE, first quarter 19th century, the rectangular top inset with an arrangement of dried flowers beneath a shallow, oval glass domed cover, the edges and sides with engine milled mounts and around further inset shell panels; above four panther headed scrolling legs with writhen stretchers, the frieze drawer opening to a fully fitted interior containing mother-of-pearl, enamelled and gilt metal mounted implements, 11cm high, 17cm wide, 9.5cm deep
