Edo period, early 18th century, of circular form, the border underglaze blue reserved with kidney-shaped panels in gilt and painted with chrysanthemums and other flowers, the well painted with a vase of flowers on a terrace, the underside sparsely painted in underglaze blue and iron red with sprigs of prunus and blue circles, 27.3cm dia.
