The surface of the amber is heavily crazed and there is evidence of some scratching and chipping. It is more than possible that the amber may have split and been repaired at some point - there is an obvious join mark to the one half with a large chip. There is the presence of some insects and fauna/seeds inclusion within the amber. The amber measures 15cm long x 4.5cm at the widest point x 2cm at the deepest point.
N.B. During viewing the amber has split into two pieces revealing historic damage and repair.
