mostly late 19th/ 20th Century musicians , including Miss Marie Hall (1884-1956), Jan Kubelik and his wife, Melba, Elgar, etc, contained in a bound album, together with one of Miss Hall's calling cards. Hall was the first performer of Vaughan Williams' Lark Ascending, and a major figure early 20th century music. Most cards addressed to one Miss M. Glennie, Gravelly Hills (a music school?)
Provenance: by repute acquired by the vendor's grandfather in exchange for cigarettes during WWII.
