Hall was the first performer of Vaughan Williams' Lark Ascending, and a major figure early 20th century music. Most cards addressed to one Miss M. Glennie, Gravelly Hills (a music school?)
Provenance: by repute acquired by the vendor's grandfather in exchange for cigarettes during WWII.
