We have a series of cartoons showing the humorous side of Dorset life. There are scenes from across the county depicting newsworthy events such as a shoplifting seagull and a ‘disappearing’ chalk carving, some of Dorset’s colourful fairs and festivals including the Filly Loo and Knob-Throwing, together with a host of local celebrities, past and present.

Lyndon Wall is an award-winning Dorset-based artist and caricaturist specializing in political and local interest cartoons. He provides cover cartoons for The West Dorset Magazine and draws for other publications including The Dorset Year Book. His book, Upsydown: Cartoons of Dorset Life was published by Amberley in 2024.
