third quarter 18th century, the grey and striated white marble top with serpentine front and ovolo moulded front and side edges, the front with two short and two long drawers, all with parquetry panel borders and foliate cast gilt bronze handles; the projecting front angles with further gilt bronze mounts above conforming sabots,

The item bears the usual minor knocks and scuffs overall consistent with age and use.

The marble appears to be original and is in good order. There is minor old worming to the wooden top beneath the marble.

Minor replacements to veneers on the drawer fronts and at the sides. 

Metalware is probably original -in good order.

Basically good condition overall.
