The item bears the usual minor scuffs and knocks, overall consistent with age and use. The mouldings have been regilded overall with oil gilding. Some areas of moulding have come out of place and been glued back at some point. The backs are 20 century and are well fixed, so we cannot examine the reverse of the glasses. Generally speaking, both mirrors are in perfectly presentable order.
