circa 1820, the hinged rectangular top with a border of foliate cut brass inlay, above a conforming projecting tablet to the frieze, on a rectangular section shaft descending through lobed collars to a quatreform base, on four hipped and splayed legs to brass paw caps and castors,

The table has been repolished Small areas of brass are lifting, but all is in place. Closed, stable splits right across the top.

Small areas of replacement veneers to edging. Minor splits and veneer losses to base.

Despite all of the above, the table does remain in perfectly presentable condition.
