Estimate: £400 - £700

Bidding ended. Lot has been sold.
circa 1825, in the manner of Gillows, the backrests with scallopshells above scroll carved waisted sides, the shaped seats with sabre legs,
Height 86cm
Width 40cm

The chairs bear the usual extremely minor knocks and scuffs overall consistent with age and use, and there are a couple of insignificant and minor closed splits to the backs.

One leg is restored towards the top where it meets the seat and has previously been broken.

The restoration work is very good.
