Relined with associated retouching, the canvas extended at the top by approximately 8cm. the entire composition possibly reduced, although it corresponds to the engraving by Dean. the frame in good restored condition with the back part covered in brown paint. Prior to restoration there were labels on the back of the frame (image available). Appears to be a line of old damage running horizontally across the top of the painting.
