circa 1825, the rectangular seat with moulded edging and cylindrical bolster at each end, on knop turned, fluted and tapering legs, 53cm high overall x 79cm long 

The item bears the usual knocks and scuffs overall consistent with age and use. There are two naturally occurring stable cracks to the timber at the top. The bolsters are faded. Rails and legs have a darker hue than the top.
