"The Bugatti of Motorcycles"

The Scott Flying Squirrel is a rare and exceptional bike. A limited number were made and even less have survived, At the time of their release they were one of the most expensive bikes in production. Scott were renowned for there innovative design and quality of build. Technology filtered down to the roadsters from bikes that had great successes at the Isle of Man TT.  Post war models benefitted from a telescopic front fork design by Dowty Engineering Ltd, and an increased engine capacity, which resulted in a smooth ride at up to 80mph.

This bike is a legacy of fine British engineering. This example has been looked after by a passionate motorcyclist, housed in his collection. It would benefit from a recommissioning service.
