overall consistent with wear and age. The gilding has a bright hue, and might
have been refreshed. There are cracks through the gesso and gilding where the
joins lie beneath, but there is no movement in any of the joints, and all is
solid. Fabric is in good order. Overall the chairs are in good shape.
