16th century, Depicted standing, wearing a coronet and a cloak, a necklace and with a cartouche suspended from a chain, her left handing clasping the Bible, her right arm outstretched, previously grasping an object, her cloak providing shelter for a Pope, a Bishop and other male figures, on a shaped base, the underside inscribed in white paint ‘D..MERKEN / TONGEREN’ and with locating hole, with iron hook on the reverse, 72cm high
