There are the inevitable minor dents, marks, scratches and shrinkage cracks consistent with age and use. As stated in the catalogue, there are losses to the feet and arms. Restorations. The figure looking to dexter, with a missing foot and most if the other foot missing. Infilled shrinkage cracks in the face, a 28 x 4 cm section of wood has been added in the lower part of the torso. Losses to the right knee. The figure looking to sinister, missing lower left arm and left foot. Most of the index finger of the right hand is missing. Losses to the hair & a section of har directly above the forehead. A section at the top of the right thigh & knee is missing. Much of the right foot is worn away. Both are well carved, with a good colour and surface, they are in 'country house' condition, having been restored many years ago, however in general they are in poor condition.
