Timothy Hyman RA
Born in 1946 and a painter, curator and writer. He trained
as a painter at The Slade (1963-7) and was elected RA in 2011. He has had ten
London solo exhibitions and was lead curator for the Tate’s Stanley Spencer
retrospective. Thames and Hudson have published his monographs on Bonnard and
Sienese Painting, as well as The World New Made: Figurative Painting in the
Twentieth Century.
