Bidding ended. Lot has been sold.

There are the inevitable minor dents, marks, scratches and shrinkage cracks due to age and use. The japanned surface is distressed on the top moulded part of the frame. The cresting board is removable and is slightly warped. Some small chips to the inside arched edge. The japanned surface on the top part of the arched cresting board is lifting. The bevelled mirror plates are apparently original. They are lightly foxed (upper plate more foxed) and in good condition. The upper plate has slipped slightly. The backboard is black-painted and has shrunk slightly - there is a small pine fillet inserted to one side to hold the mirror in place. A lovely mirror in a lovely condition.
