centred by a lion mask and fabric fold panel, with palladian scrolls to each side, incomplete and requiring restoration, the mantle measures 196cm wide, the central panel 110cm wide

The lion mask centrepiece has some chips and some losses. There are old repairs to the nose and mouth. There is a repair to underneath of the claw below the lion mask. There are old repairs to the claw feet. The mantel has some slight chips to the edges and a large piece missing underneath. The columns have chips and old repairs. There are elements missing. 

The fireplace is built of both 19th and 20th century elements. The central panel we believe to be early composite. 

The central panel measures 110cm wide x 60cm high x 18cm deep. Each of the scrolled jambs measures 92xm high.
