Bidding ended. Lot has been sold.

In good overall condition. There is some wear and surface marks consistent with age and use. There are some elements of flaking to the lacquer and discolouration to the gilt metal mounts. Otherwise there are no obvious signs of large scale damage or restoration. The marble top has been previously split in half and restored (please see additional images)

In our opinion it is c 1880 / 1900
