There is minor wear and scratching evident to the surface of the gold, though no significant damage is visible. The stones appear to be securely set, though there is some wear to the claws in places that would most likely require attention. Barring one stone, there is littler evidence of significant chipping or abrasion to the facets. The faceting of the stones is fairly rudimentary, with many of them being closer to a single cut or unfaceted, they are also opaque in appearance There is no evidence of resizing or repair to the shank, it has thinned slightly at the back and is indistinctly stamped 'K18'.
