A MEISSEN PORCELAIN CHOCOLATE POT

mid-18th century, of pear form, the lid with floral finial, the spout and handle with rocaille moulding, the body with two pastoral panels, a lady on one side and a gentleman the other, blue crossed sword marks to the base, 15cm high

The finial is chipped and the lid shows some restoration under blue light, as does the spout. Chips to the handle. Wear to the gilt and decoration. Small crack/firing fault to the rim.
